On 11 January, went to final of Miss Sahabat Idol – a beauty contest for Indonesians living in Hong Kong, sponsored by Smartone. Contest is aimed at boosting usage of Smartone mobile phones and international calls among Indonesians in Hong Kong, especially those working at domestic helpers.
Proved to be good fun – especially as included performance by Cokelat, a popular Indonesian rock band. I shot some video clips.
